The GSE Reporting Analyst is responsible for balancing/reconciling and remitting funds to GSE investors. Work with Clients to ensure compliance with GSE Regulations and requirements.
Essential Functions:
Analyzes various reports and collaborates with GSE Agency contacts when there are errors on the report or discrepancies in data.
Uses data from monthly reports to validate funds reported and remitted
Clear monthly exceptions within the specified GSE Guidelines through the GSE Portals
Communicate with investors through email and phone
Document and maintain policies and desk top procedures.
Produce GSE Audit documentation requested for various audits.
Responsible for meeting GSE regulatory requirements and following internal policies
Competencies/Skills :
GSE (FNMA, FHLMC and GNMA) Reporting/Accounting Experience
Strong Problem Solving/Analysis and deep research skills
Time Management – must be able to multitask and deliver on tight deadlines
Professional business communication skills both verbal and written
Teamwork Orientation
Strong Mathematical ability
Organizational skills and ability to handle confidential material
Ability to multi-task, prioritize effectively and efficiently
Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Ability to sit for long periods of time is essential.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Education and Experience:
Knowledge in Excel related to complex formulas, formatting, lookups and pivot tables
Knowledge in all Microsoft Office application suite (Excel, Word, Outlook and Access is a plus)
2-4 years Prior Bookkeeping/Accounting, GSE reporting
Experience Experienced 10 key by touch and strong typing skills
