The Trainer is responsible for improving the productivity of employees through effective development, coordination and presentation of training and development programs throughout BSI Financial and will create all training materials, including content development and delivery method to ensure brand consistency.
Essential Functions
- Confer with management, supervisors, and employees to gain knowledge of work situations requiring training and to better understand changes in policies, procedures, regulations, business initiatives and technologies.
- Coordinate training schedule with the hiring and training demands of BSI Financial.
- Formulate teaching outline and determine instructional methods such as classroom training, individual training, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, conferences, meetings, and workshops.
- Select or develop teaching aids such as training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials, and reference works.
- Conduct training sessions covering specified areas such as on-the-job training, refresher training, etc.
- Test trainees to measure progress and to evaluate effectiveness of training.
- Report on progress of employees under guidance during training periods.
- Monitor methods used by employees for shipping and inbound duties and make on the spot corrections.
- Make suggestions on improving work procedures at BSI Financial.
- Maintain trainee personnel records.
- Develop strong relationships with all departments to develop course materials and receive feedback.
- Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
- Responsible for meeting legal requirements and following internal policies.
- Should be able to maintain reports and utilize the LMS effectively.

- Ability to read and interpret documents such as technical data, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to develop and proof training materials.
- Ability to speak effectively in interpersonal situations and before groups of employees.
- Ability to functions independently in a multi-task environment, as well as part of a team.
- Ability to follow the appropriate safety precautions.
- Proficiency with Windows based applications.
- Comfortable communication with all levels of management and employees.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Should have a minimum of 8-10 years of experience.
- Should have worked in US Mortgage/Mortgage Organisation
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The ability to sit for long periods of time is essential.
Education and Experience
- Previous training or classroom experience or related training experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
