AVP of Loan Administration

Department: Loan Servicing
Location: Irving, TX

The AVP of Loan Administration is responsible for assisting in overseeing all Loan Administration functions within Escrow, Cashiering, Payoff, & Support Services.

Essential Functions

  • Manage staff for Escrow, Cashiering, Payoff & Support Services.
  • Managing employees and processes and disciplining employees, when applicable.
  • Assist and manage internal projects and change management requests.
  • Monitor compliance within the departments relating to external audits. Assist in providing all necessary information for audit requirements.
  • Excel at interfacing with colleagues, and staff at all levels to ensure organizational goals are attained.
  • Effectively follows established procedures and entrusted with good judgment by using feedback skills in appropriate situations.
  • Excel within highly competitive environments where leadership skills are the key to success with the ability to provide excellent client satisfaction.
  • Ensure all policies and procedures meet regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure all policies and procedures are updated regularly, at least annually.
  • Provide Supervisors/Managers positive feedback and set required goals.
  • Work with Sagent anytime there is system issues or changes.
  • Manage and resolve client/borrower escalations.
  • Frequently interact with business partners, such as, investors, servicers, master servicers, vendors, and internal constituents.
  • Responsible for meeting legal requirements and following internal policies.
  • Streamline internal processes where applicable.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The ability to sit for long periods of time is essential.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time, in office position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Education and Experience

  • 3-5 years of related leadership experience and/or equivalent education and experience required
  • 3+ years’ experience managing agency (FNMA, FHLMC, GNMA) portfolios required
  • Advanced knowledge of laws and regulations governing servicing including but not limited to RESPA, CFPB, & GSE Guidelines (FNMA, FHLMC, GNMA) required
  • Prior experience with default reporting, credit reporting, payoff and escrow required
  • Basic experience, knowledge in training in all servicing activities and terminology
  • Sagent LoanServ System experience, preferred
  • Proficient with PC and related software such as Excel, Word and Power Point
